I'm pretty sure Grace is the epitome of the Blushing Bride.

 

In her Mother's wedding dress and delicate flowers in her hair, she walked down the aisle, simply radiating under a canopy of evergreens, to wed her husband-to-be, Joe. The pair, along with their Bridal party, wore Chaco sandles to celebrate their love for the outdoors, adventure, and the simple life. Grace's Mom was her maid-of-honor, which I thought was a brilliant idea. For so many of us our moms are our number one fans and closest friends and I'd love to see more moms being honored like that! Grace's Father, who is the pastor of the church that held the reception, both walked her down the aisle and officiated the marriage. The whole wedding spoke of the strength of family, relationships, and the deep commitment that love is, filled with heart-felt prayers and scriptures. 

 

The reception was casual and fun, just like Grace and Joe. Badminton, photobooths, soda-making stations, swing-dancing. They even had Ecuadorian food served as a homage to their love of mission

work in developing countries

(Grace spent some of her growing up years in Ecuador).

 

It was beautiful to watch the innocence and purity of

love that these two share.
